Rattler’s Edge, also known as “The EDGE”, is a Full Service Hair Salon serving the students of Florida A&M University (FAMU) and the Greater Tallahassee community. Since 2004, The EDGE has been home to licensed barbers, stylists, and natural hair specialists that have been educated and trained at the most highly regarded cosmetology schools in the country. The practitioners at The Edge have experience working with and maintaining hair of all ethnic groups, including, but not limited to black hair. Our mission is to provide excellence, style, healthy hair education, and unparalleled service in a convenient and creative environment. We care about your business and are constantly improving in order to enhance the salon experience.

The EDGE offers cutting, coloring, styling, hair-weaving, and natural hair services by hair care professionals that work artistically to create the right look for your personality and lifestyle.  Navigate through “Our Services” to see a complete list of what we have to offer. If you need additional services or products, please notify the receptionist when making your appointment.  Please note that some services may require 24-hour notice and a service fee.

The EDGE is located on the campus of Florida A&M University, a leading HBCU, in the Lower Level of the Old Student Union Building (1668 S. MLK, Jr. Blvd, Tallahassee, FL 32307).
